Oil on canvas, 2013. 36x36 inches. Since I got good feed back and sold my Baldwin Beach painting I wanted to do another horizon beach painting. But I didn't want to do the same thing. This one has been worked on and has been sitting around for a couple of months. It felt to much like the other one. It was driving me crazy!

I don't know why it took so long to realize Makena Beach has more saturated colors and the waves themselves are often more turbulent.

Nothing like a hot cup of coffee.

One night this summer I was out enjoying the night air as the moon rose over the mountain.

Nothing like a chilled juicy watermelon on a hot summer's day!

Two colors representing the ying and yang. The rectangle shape represents my daughter who wasn't quite born during Christmas, but arrived couple weeks later.

There was a lot of browns in my old house. I needed some vibrant colors. 3 panels with a total of 6 colors that are interchangeable according to my mood.
